We are looking for an experienced security officers to join our team. The role is a Security Support Officer. Your shift pattern will be variable with a pay rate of between £9.00 and £10.00. A vehicle is essential for this role. You will cover sites in Talacre, St Asaph, Wrexham & Chester.
Security Support Officers must be available to cover various shift patterns as well as being flexible in their approach to working locations and potential changes to working patterns.
- The security officer will demonstrate their character as determined, trustworthy, attentive and approachable at all times when welcoming clients and customers – ensuring ID badges are created, allocated and collected when appropriate.
- As the first point of contact for to all customers and clients, the Security Officer must have geographically aware of their local surroundings.
- Travel to various client sites to cover sickness, holiday and provide support to the core team when required.
- Must be able to man the phones, emails, IT systems, CCTV and Alarms, Doors and Car park if need be.
- The relief security officer must spot and stop all suspicious sightings or potential criminal activity and retain full control until the arrival of emergency services.
- Report to the Security Operations Manager.
To be considered for this role you will:
- Have excellent timekeeping and attendance.
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Have a positive outlook.
- Be proactive and willing to help.
- Flexible in terms of hours and locations.
- MUST be Fully flexible to cover days, nights, weekends & bank holidays.
- Able to be vetted for previous period of 5 years or since leaving compulsory education.
- Team Player .
- Hold a valid SIA Licence.
- Hold a valid DVLA.
- Smart, customer focused and well-groomed.
- Approachable and fair person, and confident to act in difficult situations..
