Job Description
Storekeeping Activities
Receive, store and issue items at the Warehouse and distribute to respective destinations (Central Kitchen, Outlets, Pharmacies and Restaurants), as deemed necessary.
Keep tight control on stock movements and have all items stored and issued correctly at all times.
Separate obsolete and slow-moving items at the store and examine periodically for control purposes.
Maintain physical inventory records and update them as per changes in stock.
Adhere to the periodic plan to count inventory items at the warehouse.
Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated and environmentally controlled rooms (if required as per specifications).
Perform physical verification for newly received items by verifying against the Purchase Order and supplier’s invoice / delivery note.
Sort and place items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
Locate items to be issued and deliver them for dispatching in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure security and administration of the warehouse by denying access to inventory items stored in the warehouse from unauthorized personnel at all times.
Reconcile any variances between the book records and the results of physical count, and promptly justify any non-reconciled differences to the Direct Manager.
Ensure data and new item information (stock no., description, location, min-max. etc) in the system is tracked and entered accurately for daily issuance, receipts and returned items to maintain updated stock control system.
Achieve the highest standard of sanitation and cleanliness in the Warehouse by cleaning according to cleaning schedule and hygiene policy including all heavy-duty equipment, inside refrigerators and ventilation filters to prevent damage of items.
Document and track damages on orders received and report them to the Direct Manager.
Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
Job Requirements
Educational Qualification
Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field.
Work Experience
Minimum of 1 – 2 years of experience in the same or related field.
