PGCET second round seat allotment results 2020

PGCET allotment 2020: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the PGCET first round real seat allotment result on December 29th, 2020. The candidates should visit the KEA website to check their seat allotment and proceed with completing the admission formalities as per the guidelines.

The details of 2nd round are yet to be announced.

Important dates

  • PGCET first seat allotment results announcement date and time- December 28, 2020 (after 4 PM)
  • Exercising of choices by the candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round, in consultation with their parents- Dec 29 (6 PM) to Dec 31 (11 AM)
  • Payment of fees by the candidates who got seat allotment as per their Choice 1 and Choice 2- Dec 30 to Dec 31 (upto 4 PM)
  • Last date by the Choice 1 candidates to report at the allotted college with original documents as per verification process- before Dec 31 ( 5:30 PM)

The KEA has already published the mock allotment results on December 27th to familiarise the candidates with the allotment process and also to give them a fair idea of the colleges/courses they can expect to be allotted with the rank they have obtained based on the performance in the entrance exam. The PGCET entrance exam was held on October 13th & 14th and the results were released in the first week of December month. The PGCET counselling commenced on December 24th with the display of seat matrix, fees structure, and the option entry process took place between December 24-27.

The admission process will officially commence with the announcement of real allotment results in the first round.

The PGCET real seat allotment is done on the basis of merit and following the roster system. The KEA is conducting the PGCET counselling for facilitating admission to the MBA, M.E./M.Tech, MCA and M.Arch courses in the institutions based in the state of Karnataka.
