Stages of an ICSI CS Course

CS
Course offered by the Institute of Company Secretary in India (ICSI)
has an entailment of three levels which is required to be attempted
by each CS aspirant in order to get qualified and serve as a
certified CS.

  • CS Foundation
  • CS Executive
  • CS Professional

CS Foundation 31 March for exams in Dec and 30 Sept for exams in June next year.

CS Executive28th February for exams in December the same year (both modules) 31 May for exams in Dec same year (single module), 31 August for exams in June next year (both modules) and finally 30 Nov. for exams in June next year (single module).

Please Note: After clearing the exams one must go through the period of internship which will give him the practical experience of his work. The training period should be 4 to 6 months. Once the training is done the candidate is declared as a professional CS.

It is hereby announced that the CS Examinations for Foundation Programme, ExecutiveProgramme (Old and New Syllabus) and Professional Programme (Old and New Syllabus) will now be held from 1Oth Auqust. 2021 to 20th Auqust.2021.”

Marking and Syllabus for ICSI CS Exam 2021

Exams
will be taken via online modes and the format of the question paper
will be objective type written in both Hindi and English Languages.
In both Executive and Professional Levels, the marking scheme for
each paper is 100 marks. The papers for topics such as Cost and
Management Accounting, Tax Laws and Practice and Industrial Labour,
Industrial Labour and General Laws will follow OMR modules.

Eligibility to Apply for CS Exams

  • CS Foundation – Minimum eligibility to pursue the training of CS Foundation or the first level of CS Training is clearing 10+2 Examination from any stream any board.
  • CS Executive – The minimum eligibility for pursuing CS Executive programme is a Bachelor’s Degree from any stream (except Arts).
  • CS Professional – To continue with the training of CS Professional which is the last in the string of levels for CS Training one must clear the Foundation and then the Executive Level of training.

How to Apply for ICSI CS Exam 2021?

Eligible
aspirants from all over the country can apply for registrations
online via the institute’s student portal i.e. “www.icsi.edu”.
One may even get the guidance from the website related to details of
CS training, admission and exams.

Please
go through the information extended by the institute before filing
the form to avoid any inconvenience. Once the form is successfully
submitted, the student will get his/her “Registration Number” via
SMS or Email. If not received one can check his/her registration
status by logging into the ICSI Portal and entering the credentials
such as Mobile Number, Application Number and Email ID.

Pre-Requisites
For Registration:

Apart
from other relevant documents, the candidate must keep handy:

  • The
    scanned copies of his passport-sized photograph.
  • Roll
    Number in appearing
  • Proof
    of DOB (qualifying certificate of std. 10th)
  • Government
    Authorized Identity Proof (Adhaar Card or Voter ID or ration card,
    PAN card)
  • Ensure
    that the digital documents are in either one of these formats PG/
    BMP/ PDF/ JPEG/ PNG/ GIF.
  • Max.
    size of a digital document should be 2 MBs and photos should be
    between 20kb to 50kb and digital signature should accumulate in
    between 10kb and 20kb.

candidates may get immunity from paying the Tuition Fee, Registration
Fees, Admission Fees which are to be paid subsequently with the
process of admission. Before granting an exemption from the payment
of fees ICSI judges the performance of the students in the three
stages altogether. Based on the performance in all the three stages
the refund can be claimed by the candidate and the institute grants
the claim to the person who is eligible for reimbursement.

ICSI 2019 Highlights

  • Admit Card – Admit Card can be download from the institute’s official website available under the heading ICSI CS card 2019. The admit card contains details like the candidate’s name, exam time and venue.
  • Results – ICSI CS Results are every year declared at the official site of ICSI. Results can be availed using the Candidate’s Roll Number. The Result page will also display the candidate’s name, roll number, name of examination, calculation of marks obtained, module.
  • CS Merit List 2019 – CS Merit list is available for download from ICSI official website in PDF Format. Merit List will display the roll number, rank, candidate’s name, registration number, etc.
